Transform24 Conference: Speaking with Seth Godin on Fundraising Success

On January 24-25, 2024, I had the privilege of emceeing the 2nd Annual Fundraising Transformation Summit – aka Transform24 – a global conference where attendees learn from 12 of the most visionary leaders in the nonprofit space – including Seth Godin, Brian Crimmins & Nathan Chappell: co-authors of The Generosity Crisis: The Case for Radical Connection to Solve Humanity’s Greatest Challenges, Brooke Richie-Babbage, Tammy Zonker and more.

The conference was founded by Tammy Zonker, AFP Certified Master Trainer, Fundraising Strategist, Transformational Keynote Speaker, and founder of Fundraising Transformed.  This summit was also made possible through the collaborative efforts of Trent Thompson, CMO of Fundraising Transformed.

These two days delivered free access to two days of virtual trainings, behind-the-scenes workshops, and insider conversations.  So much inspiration. So much learning.

As I stepped into my role as the emcee for this incredible event, one word kept playing on repeat in my mind: “transform.” It’s a word that packs a punch—it’s all about making big changes and shaking things up. And when you think about it, it’s the complete opposite of keeping things the same, which is not always easy.

Professionally, at Hay There Social Media, I get to see amazing women taking these bold steps toward transforming their professional lives every single day as freelance social media managers. Personally, my involvement in the Fair Play Documentary produced by Reese Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine, written by Jennifer Siebel Newsom and based off  Eve Rodsky’s book. It’s been a journey that’s shown me just how important transformation is in my own story.

Talking with all the speakers and attendees at the event, I couldn’t help but think how transformation requires different actions AND different thinking.

The Transform24 Summit was a real game-changer, with over 1,300 attendees signed up and ready to soak up the inspiration. It was a day packed with insights and lightbulb moments, especially for fundraising professionals. It got everyone thinking deeply and plotting our moves for the year ahead.

Tammy Zonker summed it up perfectly when she thanked everyone for their energy, their engagement, and their positive vibes.
